I did a comparison test with the original and I find that initial spray from the MMR one gives you this grassy, matcha scent right away whereas the Scent Therapy one, you get a sweeter (way too sweeter) version. It almost smells like purely Jasmine except it has this certain aromatic kick to it. The MMR one dries down to this soft Jasmine (matcha scent is still there) and I think what the Scent Therapy version captures best is the middle notes as its opening punch. As it dries down, the citrus floral is more prominent on my skin and there is still a bit of that grass-greenness to it, I am not sure if it resembles matcha though (is it the moss that’s supposedly the base note? perhaps). That’s okay for me because the matcha scent is not something I’d excitedly reach for in a perfume. I find the MMR one to be more subtle and smooth in its mixture of the notes and the citrus floral in it gets more woody. This version is more punchy in its mix and I think those who want less of the vegetal scent will find this more wearable, more likable. I would say this is a good buy if you are into jasmine florals but not if you are looking for a strong matcha scent,
Still, a very good mix and about 80% similar to the original. A good inspired version that has a personality of its own. =)
