Initial spray, both on paper and on my skin, gave me this mild yuzu scent .As it dries down, the smell reminds me of this soap in the past (I think it’s the palmolive one, yung pink or white or green variant – can’t remember). It’s actually not bad because I like these soaps when I was young; but, because it has a similar vibe to an identifiable/recognizable scent, people have formed associated memories to it (like my husband said amoy bagong ligo na construction worker kasi yun daw gamit ng kapitbahay nila hehehe). Mine is a different memory and I actually like it! I sometimes spray perfume before sleeping and there are perfumes na bagay like this one. Aldehydic na a bit floral, fresh, and yes parang bagong ligo. I do get the “”creamy”” in this because again, it reminds me of a soap or a creamy body wash.
I can’t rate how close it is to the original scent it was inspired by, but on its own, I don’t mind using it every now and then. Probably will keep a 5ml or 10ml handy.
