I want to give L’eau Papier a chance but Orpheon really does smell more like a paper. This inspired scent is 90-95% similar to the original so if you are into the L’eau Papier scent, this perfume is for you. I am not just into L’eau Papier because I am still waiting for the promised paper-like smell, the steamed rice, etc. to kick in and no matter how many testers I’ve tried, I realize it is futile hehe.
But this inspired version? Really so close to the original! I think this is even longer-lasting. I’ll still spray this every now and then when I am in the mood for a muskier, skin-like scent.

I purchased this blindly, after a rave review by a friend. I fell in love with it immediately, without having smelled the original L’eau Papier before. I don’t need to purchase the OG; I will just keep repurchasing this one. Many friends have smelled it on me and have asked me what I’m wearing. It just smells so clean and fresh and pretty. It also makes a great gift. Please never discontinue this scent!
