A vanilla gourmand perfume for men and women. In this generous, enveloping trail, we can find coriander seed essence and an overdose of musks and vanilla. The floral, spicy note of coriander seeds brings, just like musks, ethereal volume and a lingering trail. In the base notes, the gourmand, reassuring notes of the vanilla accord enhanced by the ambery woods reveal a radiant, bright silhouette.

After spraying this on my skin, I get this rum cake like smell that’s a bit sweet and nutty? It’s just cool and delicious so I immediately thought this would be good during Christmas time. Is that the Juniper Berries scent? I am not sure, I haven’t smelled one yet! The dry down is still that cool rum cake vibe which I really enjoy. I’ve heard some compared this to a vanilla scent so I was expecting this to be the usual warm, amber vanilla that usually gives me a headache if sprayed too much. But NO, this is a cooler vanilla, if there is such a thing, and I am so happy with the blend. There is a bit of spice, I think that’s the nutmeg/coriander combo, which helped add depth to an otherwise just linear scent. The complete dry down, I get a bit of smoked wood? Again, I would imagine this as a winter scent because of the images the combo of notes evoke; but, because of the coolness it has, it fits all year round too. Haven’t tried the MFK GF Gold yet so I can’t provide comparative notes. But, this is definitely going into my perfume wishlist and I think this is good on its own.
P.S. I sprayed this on my right and HSW on my left – I think it’s a great combo because though HSW is warmer, they have the same citrusy, vanilla vibes with the slightest hint of woodiness/nuttiness to it. Will try layering them next time and see how it goes.
